Horse Validation
All horses must be owned and validated with UCJLS by December 7, 2020. Entry fees - $10 per horse not to exceed $30 per department.

As required by State law, all participants should maintain current negative Coggins papers(s) valid through date of the Uvalde County Junior Livestock Horse Show with them at all UCJLS Horse functions.  Any horse without a copy of their current negative Coggins paper, on file with the Horse committee Superintendent, will be disqualified from the show.

Items due to Horse Show Superintendent on/before November 1:

                1).  TEXAS LIVESTOCK SHOW CODE OF ETHICS Form.
                2).  The UCJLS Horse Validation Form.
                3).  The UCJLS Horse Certification/Identification Form.
                4).  UCJLS Horse Show Entry Form for the year you will be showing.  
                5).  Copy of current Coggins paper valid through date of UCJLS Horse Show.
                6).  Entry fees, paid in cash or by personal check  made out to UVALDE COUNTY JUNIOR LIVESTOCK SHOW.

Commercial Pen of Three Heifers validation
Southwest Livestock Auction              2:00 P.M.

At Validation: 
1.  Heifers must weigh an average weight between 600 and 800 lbs. 
2.  Must have in place 2 middle temp incisors.
3.  Validation fee:  $20
4.  UCJLS registration fee:  $30
5.  Vaccinations and worming will be available at validation, with exhibitor responsible for the cost.

Ag Mechanics
Entry Forms and Entry Fees for Uvalde FFA Entries are due to Mr. Black no later than November 13, 2020.
Entry fee - $10 per entry. Team projects, $10 per team member.  

Bake Goods
FFA members wishing to enter the UCJLS bake show must enter with Ms. Dalrymple no later that November 13, 2020.  
Entry Fee - $10 

Novice Rabbits
Deadline for signing up for novice rabbits is October 1, 2020. Cost is $175 for 4 bunnies. 
Must enter UCJLS by October 1, 2020.  $30
Must go to the Uvalde County Extension Office to do this! 
Must be tattooed by January 9, 2021 in the left ear by the official Uvalde County Tattoo to be eligible to show. 

Breeding Rabbits
All meat pens must be tattooed by January 9, 2021 in the left ear by the official Uvalde County tattoo to be eligible to show. 
Entry forms and fees due to Ms. Dalrymple by November 13, 2020

Angora Goats  
Must be owned by the exhibitor by October 15, 2020.  
Entry forms and fees due to Ms. Dalrymple by November 13, 2020.

Market Broilers (Poultry)
Entry forms and feeds due to Ms. Dalrymple by October 23, 2020 
Must own and possess the poultry stock (minimum of 25 birds) on or before December 5, 2020
All take home chickens must be out of the barn by 6:00 PM Thursday, January 28, 2021.

All checks need to be made out to UCJLS!
